What were your biggest challenges before the WebRTC course?

My name is Rudresh, and I work as a Senior Solutions Architect at Plivo, which is a global CPaaS company. WebRTC is a very big part of what we do here.

A lot of our clients come to Plivo for the WebRTC part of our offering and my job is to advise the clients on what is the best way forward, and what they should be thinking about when they use WebRTC.

While standard documentation can do the job a lot of times, I felt like there were a lot of times where the clients needed details I was not confident in discussing.

There were a lot of those questions, which I personally thought that it would be good if I knew the details and could answer more confidently. That prompted me to dig deeper and I found this was the best resource available.

What results did you see after signing up for the WebRTC Courses?

The first major advantage is that I am more confident when speaking to our WebRTC clients, and we have clients who are not using WebRTC in a usual way. They are using WebRTC with IoT devices and stuff like that.

I am a lot more confident in discussions with our clients, especially those who are WebRTC architects. It helps build that kind of rapport, even when I am discussing non-Plivo stuff with them.

It really has given me a lot of confidence to have those conversations at that level of depth and sound very convincing. That has been one of the major differences.

What makes the WebRTC Courses a good choice?

WebRTC can be daunting. There is a lot of material available on the internet, but it is very unorganized. The first reason this course is so good is that Tsahi has managed to organize a lot of material in a step by step way.

The course brings you like 70 to 80% of all the useful material on the internet in one place. It saves a lot of time. Secondly, the technical details that it covered are invaluable.

Another one of my requirements was that I needed a course that went into the detailed technical level because my background is in software engineering. I wanted to understand the technical details.

Finally, I think the additional material the course has makes it really interesting. You have the videos and the normal course material, but on top of it you have links to all these blogs and other materials where you can go deeper if you want.

Is the WebRTC Course a good investment?

I think it is worth joining purely because the knowledge you get in WebRTC is in depth. The course is such that you can do it at your own pace and it is nicely chunked in different sections. You do not need to keep doing it in a single flow.

Financially, it is a bit expensive, but I am in an environment where WebRTC is going to give me the right kind of credentials to grow in my career. So I think financially, it is a good investment.

Who would you recommend the WebRTC Courses to?

I would definitely recommend this course to people who are already working in a similar industry. The more details you understand, the more confident you are.

Most importantly, you will understand why things are the way they are, why there are different architectures, why these architectures have evolved in this way, and which types of use cases they are answering. I am much more confident about my answers now.
