LESSON 1: Why connecting sessions is tricky?
When you have 2-3 different video streams to choose from in Simulcast, which one should you relay to viewers?
Here, my preference will always be to scale up than to scale down - at least if the scaling up is up to a factor of x2 in terms of the resolution. Why? Because that reduces the load on the sender, the receiver and the network. At the end of the day, such an approach will most likely yield better media quality than the alternative.
