Heard of ChatGPT and OpenAI? Who hasn’t…
Such generative AI technologies are finding their place also in WebRTC. In fact, they are so cardinal in WebRTC these days that for me, they mark the beginning of a new era in the evolution of WebRTC.
And just between the two of us here 😉 what better way to start off a new era than to do so with a targeted workshop.
In this 3-part workshop we are going to go through the reasons behind Generative AI finding a home in WebRTC and analyze the challenges associated with it. We will see how vendors are meeting these challenges and try to figure out the best approach for your company in this brave new world.

Session 1a: Evolution
WebRTC is entering its 4th era - one which is going to be dominated by Generative AI. In this session, we will understand how we got here and what forces are going to drive our market in the coming years.
Session 1b: Mapping out
AI and Generative AI are dominating technology focus everywhere. Their imminent penetration is finding its way in WebRTC like everywhere else. In this session, we will figure out where all this it fits exactly in WebRTC.
Session 2a: The need for speed
Generative AI exploded into our reality with ChatGPT. A powerful text prompting technology. Taking it to the realtime domain of voice poses a new challenge of dealing with the need to optimize it for lower latencies, but in a way that is different than just mere text. In this session we will look at the role WebRTC plays.
Session 2b: Technicalities
Here we will view some of the main technical challenges and questions posed to us by fusing Generative AI with WebRTC.
Session 3a: Market forces
After going through all the trends, it is time to look at the market itself. Understand the forces and play, figure out how the Generative AI WebRTC ecosystem is taking shape, and from there, decide what our role in it is.
